Foods To Eat When Have Acne
Generally, bad foods are to be avoided, like junk food, food made with margarine, industrially processed foods etc. Some people react to chocolate, pizza, junk soft drinks, sugar, etc. Different people may have different list of foods that trigger acne. But as a rule of thumb, avoid all unhealthy, junk food. Do NOT eliminate good oils from your diet. Try evening primrose oil and flex seed oil.Liver flush may help improve your tolerance to natural foods.
Some people may have problems tolerating wheat, eggs, nuts, and other similar natural foods. Liver flush may help increase tolerance to those foods.
Just wanted to state my opinion that I believe we all have different underlying ailments that cause our acne. Therefore, no one can state that just because something helped them clear up their acne that it will also work for you. One person will swear by Liver Flushes and another will say that all you need to do is cleanse your bowels and your acne will vanish. But for another person, these treatments will have little to no affect on their acne (although they are still going to help you get healthier).
I’ve been reading a really great book lately that explains that many of our current health problems are preset while in utero, not because of genes but because of our chemical exposure!!
Basically our mothers health and chemical exposure becomes our health during the nine months we’re developing in the uterus. Dioxins, PCBs, Bisphenol A, pesticides etc are all estrogenic and screw up our hormones and our future development. This especially affects women (but also men) leading to estrogen dominance, PCOS, memory problems, stomach problems, and even ACNE!!! Basically these chemicals get into our system and program us to a sensitivity later in life which is probably why everything under the sun (especially those things that taste good: sugar, gluten, dairy etc) make us break out!! Even though we may be living an exceptionally healthy life NOW eating a perfect diet, doing detox after detox, avoiding stress, etc..basically our cells have been set and we have this sensitivity for life. The best thing we can do at this point is to minimize our exposure to these agents and do a thorough cleanse (chemicals may store in our body fat and are difficult to detox).
It’s still important to eat healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle but I thought that this may give some understanding to many who question why they have acne while others don’t. There are some who liver flush time after time but still end up with acne. Maybe there’s no cure for some. Maybe at this point it’s just about maintaining overall health with healthy eating, avoiding certain foods and minimizing acne breakouts rather than curing the condition.
